At CareVet of Arlington Heights in Arlington Heights, IL, we're looking for an experienced veterinarian to join us as Medical Director.
You'll have the opportunity to shape clinical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, and influence the hospital's future while maintaining an active caseload and practicing in your areas of interest.
$125,000 signing bonus package

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys mentoring, collaborating, and helping other doctors grow.
You'll partner with hospital and operational leadership to guide medical standards and support the team's continued success, while still spending meaningful time doing what you love — caring for patients.
Previous Medical Director experience is a plus, but not required! We're equally excited to meet experienced veterinarians ready to take the next step into leadership.

Located about 25 miles northwest of Chicago, Arlington Heights offers great restaurants, shopping, parks, and welcoming neighborhoods, with easy Metra access to downtown Chicago and convenient proximity to O'Hare International Airport.
Responsibilities:Lead medical standards and promote high-quality patient care
Mentor and support fellow veterinarians and the clinical team
Maintain an active caseload while providing exceptional veterinary care
Collaborate with hospital leadership to support team development and hospital goals
DVM/VMD degree with strong clinical experience
A passion for mentorship, collaboration, and progressive medicine
Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
Previous leadership experience is a plus, but not required!
