    Medical Director (DVM) – League City, TX

     
     
    A veterinary hospital in League City, TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to provide high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide compassionate, high-quality medical and surgical care to patients

    • Lead and mentor veterinary team members to promote a positive and collaborative environment

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal veterinary laws, including proper maintenance of controlled substance records

    • Partner with practice management to maintain consistent standards of care and operational excellence

    • Assist in resolving medical-related client concerns with professionalism and empathy

    • Support continuous improvement in medical protocols, quality assurance, and workflow efficiency

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent

    • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Arizona

    • DEA license required

    • Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred

    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

    • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team with fairness and collaboration
