Medical Director - Physician

Medical Director, Family Medicine

Location: Family Health Center - Allentown, PA

Job Summary: This position provides clinical leadership to support the organization's goals of providing efficient, high-quality care by promoting clinical excellence and integration across the continuum of care, optimal access, quality, and service excellence.

Work Experience:

• One year or more of experience in a public health or community clinic setting.
• 3+ years of experience in a public health or community clinic setting, preferred.

Education:

• MD or DO with appropriate board certification in specialty.
• Advanced degree (MMM, MBA, or equivalent), preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current licensure as an MD/DO to practice in the state of Pennsylvania by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Current BLS Certification.

Needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skill in providing excellent patient care; organizing and prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Leadership skills (accountability, motivation, change management, communication, etc) with strong emotional intelligence.
