Want to shape a veterinary team's medical standards without stepping away from patient care?
For an experienced veterinarian ready to broaden their impact, this opportunity offers a combination of clinical leadership, doctor mentorship, and hands-on small animal practice. You can help guide medical decision-making, support the development of other veterinarians, and contribute to practice improvement while continuing to see patients and perform procedures.
The appeal is the balance: a chance to influence how the team practices medicine without making leadership your only connection to the profession.
What You'll Find Here
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a small animal general practice role serving dogs and cats. Your clinical work may include preventive care, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, alongside client communication and treatment planning.
On the leadership side, you'll help mentor fellow veterinarians, support sound medical decision-making, and work with practice leadership to strengthen clinical standards and team development. The position is designed to keep you involved in patient care while giving you greater influence over the broader medical environment.
Who Might Love This
An experienced DVM who enjoys both practicing medicine and helping other veterinarians grow may find this especially appealing. At least five years of small animal clinical experience is preferred, along with prior leadership or mentoring experience. A Florida veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one, is required.
