Korzen Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Medical Director for a hospital-based Wound Care Center in the Shreveport, Louisiana market. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical oversight and program leadership in collaboration with Healogics and CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center — without the demands of daily patient care.
This is a leadership-only role focused on medical oversight and Nurse Practitioner collaboration.
No clinic shifts
No direct patient care responsibilities
No nights, weekends, or call
Monday–Friday outpatient setting
The Medical Director will provide clinical guidance, ensure protocol compliance, and support quality initiatives while serving as a key liaison between the wound care program and hospital leadership.
Local residence in the Shreveport area is required to meet hospital oversight standards.

The outpatient center operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, within the CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center. The program features an appointment-based model and is supported by an experienced interdisciplinary team.
Provide NP supervision and required collaboration
Oversee clinical protocols and regulatory compliance
Conduct periodic chart reviews and case discussions
Lead quality improvement initiatives
Support program development and strategic growth
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and hospital partners
Dedicated case manager
Hyperbaric nurses and certified wound care staff
Full administrative and operational support
Access to advanced wound care modalities and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) therapy

Board Certified or Board Eligible in a core specialty
Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license
