Medical Director – Supportive Leadership Team– Toledo, OH
A well-established companion animal practice in the Toledo area is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director to lead its clinical team while maintaining an active role in patient care. This opportunity combines hands-on medicine with strategic leadership in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to patients
Lead and support the veterinary team in maintaining strong clinical standards
Mentor and develop associate veterinarians
Partner with hospital leadership to support operational and medical goals
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive team culture
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold regulatory compliance
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
Active veterinary license in good standing
Demonstrated leadership or interest in a leadership role
Strong clinical, communication, and mentorship skills
Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
