Medical Director, Family Medicine
Location: Family Health Center - Allentown, PA
Job Summary: This position provides clinical leadership to support the organization's goals of providing efficient, high-quality care by promoting clinical excellence and integration across the continuum of care, optimal access, quality, and service excellence.
Work Experience:
- One year or more of experience in a public health or community clinic setting.
- 3+ years of experience in a public health or community clinic setting, preferred.
Education:
- MD or DO with appropriate board certification in specialty.
- Advanced degree (MMM, MBA, or equivalent), preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current licensure as an MD/DO to practice in the state of Pennsylvania by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Current BLS Certification.
Needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skill in providing excellent patient care; organizing and prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Leadership skills (accountability, motivation, change management, communication, etc) with strong emotional intelligence.
