Ready for a leadership role where you can influence the medicine, support your colleagues, and still do the clinical work you love?
Some veterinarians reach a point where they want more than a full appointment schedule. They want a say in how care is delivered, a chance to help other doctors develop, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in a practice.
This New Mexico opportunity brings those goals together. As Medical Director, you'll remain involved in small animal medicine while helping guide clinical quality, strengthen teamwork, and contribute to the practice's future direction.
What You'll Find Here
What You’ll Be Doing
The clinical work spans companion animal general practice, including preventive care, internal medicine, chronic disease management, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent appointments. Diagnostic imaging and in-house laboratory capabilities support everyday case management.
You'll balance patient care with responsibilities that help guide medical quality and support the wider veterinary team.
Who Might Love This
This role could be a strong fit for a veterinarian with at least five years of small animal clinical experience who is ready for a broader role. Current or former medical leaders may find the opportunity appealing, as may experienced associates preparing to step into leadership.
Success will depend on sound clinical judgment, clear communication, and a genuine interest in mentoring others. Previous leadership experience is preferred.
