We are seeking a Medical Device Returns & Warehouse Technician to support the processing, inspection, inventory, and routing of returned medical devices.

Medical Device Returns & Warehouse Technician

Pay: $18–$21/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
Overtime: Potential early-morning overtime as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Device Returns & Warehouse Technician to support the processing, inspection, inventory, and routing of returned medical devices. This position combines warehouse operations, inventory management, computer/data entry, and product inspection in a healthcare-related environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with computer systems and inventory, and able to safely handle returned medical products, including items that may require biohazard precautions.

Hepatitis B vaccination is required prior to starting due to working with returned healthcare products. A vaccination record is required, or the Hepatitis B vaccination series may be provided at no cost during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process returned medical devices and products.
• Compare returned products against Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Enter and update return information in company systems.
• Create sales and service orders and route products to the appropriate department.
• Inspect returned products and determine proper handling, including repacking, restocking, or transferring.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and product documentation.
• Safely handle returned healthcare products, including materials requiring biohazard precautions.
• Prepare reports and maintain department records using computer systems and spreadsheets.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory activities as needed.
• Follow company procedures and maintain consistent attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets, word processing, and database systems.
• Ability to accurately enter and maintain information in computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand written procedures and general correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely work with returned healthcare/medical products.
• Hepatitis B vaccination required prior to starting.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3+ years of warehouse, inventory, returns processing, medical device, healthcare, or logistics experience.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and/or ISO quality requirements is a plus.
• Experience with RMA, returns processing, inventory control, or product reprocessing is a plus.
