Medical Device Assembler (Operator 1)
Plano, TX 75024 2 Year Contract #48461
Summary: Perform high-precision assembly, repair, and testing of life-saving implantable medical devices. This position requires constant use of a microscope to handle micro-sized components within a light industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, repair, and test pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related sub-assemblies.
- Handle and maneuver delicate, small parts under a high-powered microscope for extended periods.
- Document production data, quality inspection results, and traceability metrics using MS Word and Excel.
- Collaborate within a manufacturing cell to meet quality and throughput benchmarks.
Requirements:
- Proven manufacturing experience (medical device assembly preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency with microscope operation and precision assembly.
- Strong digital literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work the designated shift (5:30 AM – 4:00 PM).
