Job Title: Documentation & Medical Device Assembler


Location: San Jose, CA (On-site)


Position Type: 4-Month Temporary Contract


Shift Schedule: Swing Shift (Mon–Thu: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Fri: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)


Pay Rate: $27.00/hr + 10% Shift Differential ($29.70/hr total)


About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Documentation & Operations Support Specialist to join our team on a 4-month temporary assignment. This role blends administrative data integrity with hands-on operational support across our assembly and packaging processes. You will collaborate directly with production leadership to verify warehouse kits, process documentation, maintain operational signage, and ensure quality standards on the manufacturing floor.


Key Responsibilities


  • Documentation & Quality Control: Review Device History Records (DHRs) for accuracy, complete quality compliance forms, and execute precise data entry in system databases.

  • Inventory & Parts Support: Verify work order kits received from the warehouse and order assembly/packaging parts as needed to maintain smooth workflow.

  • Production Floor Signage: Print, audit, and post operational signage and instructions across active production stations.

  • Assembly & Packaging: Provide hands-on assistance with assembly processes and packaging operations.

Key Requirements


  • Technical Skills: High computer literacy, strong data entry accuracy, and proficiency with administrative tools and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in documentation, audit checking, and numerical verification.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods during dedicated packaging days.

  • Schedule Commitment: Strict adherence to the mandatory swing shift hours (40 hours/week).

  • Experience: No prior medical device experience required—trainability and attention to detail are key.
