Medical Clinic Manager

We are a stable, long-standing specialty medical practice with six clinic locations on the Denver Front Range. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Clinic Manager to join our management team. The Clinic Manager will manage medical office coordinators (front and back office staff - not RNs) at our Lakewood and Thornton office locations in a "hands on" working manager role. Candidates must enjoy working alongside the team and possess medical office experience and strong leadership skills. We are looking for a manager who has a positive attitude and knows how to create and maintain a cohesive, fun work environment and motivate a team to excel and be successful.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with and support the needs of the providers and lead the office team in the goals and objectives of the practice.
- Have the knowledge and skills to perform all of the job duties of the staff that this position manages, as this position will cover when staff are off for vacation, sick time, leave, etc. and will be the primary trainer for the positions they manage.
- Train staff members on all practice software, systems, processes, and essential job duties.
- Assess staff members performance on an ongoing basis and provide regular feedback.
- Delegate assignments and responsibilities to personnel and oversees proficiency/accuracy of work.
- Hire, onboard, evaluate, discipline, and terminate staff appropriately as needed. Work in collaboration with our HR Manager in each of these areas.
- Conduct performance evaluations annually and corrective action interventions with subordinates when needed.
- Create pertinent HR documentation and follow procedures for staff development, coaching and performance management.
- Must be very computer literate and able to be the primary gatekeeper/troubleshooter for all IT issues in the clinic before items are escalated to our IT vendor.
- Work as a liaison between providers, management team, and staff.
- Communicate frequently and continually with providers and staff both verbally and via email; must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Heavy daily use of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for patient medical records, scheduling, billing, and provider/patient communications.
- Create and maintain the electronic schedules for all providers in the office and be an ongoing member of our practice-wide provider scheduling team.
- Maintain and support Human Resources policies and procedures and produce HR documentation as required for all personnel issues and changes.
- Must be able to audit and document staff progress and work performance, and to advise, counsel and encourage staff to meet job performance goals and duties.
- Analyzes and evaluates patient services on an ongoing basis and institutes continuous quality performance and risk management checks for the office.
- Coordinate and lead regular staff meetings and conduct one-on-one meetings with staff members.
- Conduct ongoing mentoring and coaching of staff members including direction in educational opportunities for professional growth.
- Troubleshoots operational issues and implements corrective action plans in a timely manner.
- Manage and direct office workflow, patient services, office equipment, risk management, building management, and vendor needs.
- Collaborate with Management Team to cohesively run the day to day operations of our clinics and establish practice-wide procedure and policies.
- Responsible for A/R processes done in the office and timely transfer of batches to billing dept.
- Responsible for office equipment maintenance and medical and office supply inventory and ordering.
