We are seeking a Medical Call Center Specialist to become a part of our Dermatology team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer, orient, and greet patients in an enthusiastic manner.
- Determine the appropriate clinic location and schedule patients into our computer system accordingly.
- Obtain required demographic, insurance, and eligibility information and enter it into the system accurately to ensure proper claim filing.
- Determine if the patient’s insurance needs a referral and start the referral process.
- Maintains professional working relationships with all contacts, both internal and external.
- Provide timely responses to all inquiries (verbal / written) regarding patient accounts
- Exhibits high patient-service attitude at all times.
- 100% of work time spent on answering calls and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications:
- At least one year of previous experience in healthcare
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
