Description

We are actively recruiting two Medical Call Center Representatives for our team in Shelton, CT.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients across multiple medical offices, assisting with incoming calls, appointment scheduling, cancellations, and general inquiries.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Assess callers' needs and route calls to the appropriate office or department across multiple locations.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Relay accurate and detailed messages to office staff and collaborate with receptionists, nurses, providers, managers, hospitals, pharmacies, and laboratories.
  • Review and maintain provider schedules to ensure accurate appointment management.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to handle large call volumes
  • Previous CALL CENTER experience required
  • Previous medical experience preferred/epic experience preferred

This position offers 30 to 37.5 hours per week and requires availability Monday through Friday, including occasional evening and weekend shifts.
