Raincross Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist with at least one year of medical billing experience, including claim denials, billing reports, and audits.
Responsibilities
Review and resolve denied or rejected claims, including corrected claims and appeals.
Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding insurance balances.
Prepare and review billing reports to identify discrepancies and follow-up needs.
Conduct billing audits to verify accuracy and identify errors.
Post payments, review adjustments, and reconcile account discrepancies.
Communicate with insurance companies and office staff to resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year of medical billing experience.
Experience with denial management, billing reports, and audits.
Knowledge of insurance billing, CPT and ICD-10 codes, and accounts receivable.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience with Elation Billing preferred.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30m pm Benefits: Health, Dental, 401k, and more.
