A busy medical clinic in Alexandria is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join their team.
Pay: Around $18/hr DOE (flexible for highly qualified candidates)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start time
Responsibilities:
- Submit and track insurance claims
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Resolve denied and unpaid claims
- Maintain accurate billing records
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing issues
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Knowledge of claims processing, payment posting, and collections
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or medical clinics is a plus
