What You'll Do

As a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, you will be responsible for

• Review provider documentation and accurately assign E/M codes for office visits and outpatient services.
  • Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Verify documentation supports medical necessity and appropriate code selection.
  • Assist with claim corrections, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Stay current on payer policies, coding changes, and regulatory requirements while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
