Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical billing claims
- Review and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Resolve billing issues and denials
- Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients regarding billing matters
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding balances
- Adhere to compliance regulations and coding standards
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in medical billing software and coding systems
- Knowledge of insurance procedures, regulations, and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in medical billing or related field is a plus
Desired Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in medical billing
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $30.75 per hour
- Maximum Salary: $35.54 per hour
