Dispute Resolution Rep IPosition Type: Temporary/Temp-Hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Onsite
Assignment Length: Approximately 3 - 4 Months, possibly longer.
DESCRIPTION
Our client reviews medical bills tied to insurance claims, mainly workers' compensation and liability cases, making sure the charges are accurate and fair. They also help resolve billing disputes and catch questionable billing activity before it becomes a bigger problem.
We're curently seeking a highly motivated lien negotiator and assistant for their dispute resolution team. Candidates must have minimum 1 year of experience in bill negotiations or California workers' compensation claims IEA certificate or California Certificate of Self Insurance a plus.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Dispute Resolution team members by creating plans of action and status reports
- Contact providers to obtain bills and medical reports
- Review and summarize medical reports
- Analyze and develop legal arguments
- Telephone negotiations with providers
- Communicate professionally with clients and providers
- Manage account inventory
REQUIREMENTS- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of California Labor Code statutes, Rules and Regulations, case law, and California workers' compensation fee schedules a plus
- Enjoy working within a team setting
