What Youll Do
Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction
Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications and healthcare careers
Follow the provided curriculum and maintain basic classroom documentation
Mentor students by sharing practical knowledge, professionalism, and real-world experience
What Were Looking For
Relevant backgrounds may include: Medical Billing, Medical Coding, CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.
3+ years of current medical billing and coding experience or 1+ year of medical billing and coding course instructor experience
Active CPC, CCS, and/or equivalent coding certification required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Teaching, mentoring, coaching, precepting, or training experience preferred but not required
Ability to successfully complete FBI fingerprinting/background screening

Typical Class Length: 1.5 hours
Schedule: Approximately 3 hours per instructional day, including preparation and classroom responsibilities

Compensation
$87$90 per instructional session, based on experience and certifications
