Medical Biller – Physical Therapy & X-Ray Claims

Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join their team! This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented billing professional who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with medical claims, denials, and appeals, with knowledge of physical therapy and/or X-ray billing being a strong plus. Experience with ModMed and durable medical equipment (DME) is also highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, accept, and post claims and charges
• Resolve claim denials and rejections
• Submit and follow up on appeals
• Answer patient calls and assist with billing questions
• Communicate billing updates and provide education to the clinical team
• Assist with DME billing and claims
• Maintain accurate and timely billing records

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• The last business day of each month requires additional time
• Once fully trained, employees participate in a Friday rotation, with two team members staying until 4:00 PM while others are able to leave early

Compensation

Starting at $16/hour, with pay based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

CPC or CPB certification is a plus!
