Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Uninterrupted 30-minute lunch break

What You"ll Do

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies
• Review charts to ensure lab and diagnostic results are available prior to appointments
• Assist providers with clinical and administrative workflows
• Process prescription refill requests according to provider protocols
• Follow up with patients regarding lab results, testing, and provider instructions
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies are fully stocked
• Utilize Athena EMR and other electronic medical record systems to document patient information
• Respond to patient portal messages and assist with chart preparation
• Collaborate with providers and fellow Medical Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting preferred
• Experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Athena, Epic, or similar platforms
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), RMA, EMT, LPN, or other clinical certification
• CPR certification
• Experience working with Medicare and geriatric patient populations
• Interest in leadership and long-term career growth

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodstock, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
