Position Overview
J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a busy Primary Care office in Vernon, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable and patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
• Document patient information accurately in Epic
• Coordinate patient flow and support daily office operations
• Schedule appointments and manage clinical communications
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience required
• Prior Primary Care experience required
• Experience using Epic and Allscripts Pro Preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting
