Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare providers remotely by sending referrals, requesting records, etc..
- Prepare and maintain patient charts and medical records accurately.
- Reconcile medications and vaccinations as directed by providers.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the scheduling system.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the clinic.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
Requirements:- Medical assistant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures as well as medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
