Medical Assistant
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday
Pay: $15-21.33/Hour DOE
Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare team. In this role, you'll work closely with providers to deliver exceptional patient care while supporting daily clinical and administrative operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and compassion.
- Record vital signs, medical history, medications, and chief complaints.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
- Perform clinical duties including venipuncture, injections, and other ancillary services as permitted.
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing.
- Process prescription refill requests and communicate with patients regarding care plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Track laboratory results, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and wellness as directed by the provider.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and established clinical protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and medical supply ordering.
- Support a positive patient experience and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR one (1) year of recent Medical Assistant experience within the past five years.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
