Medical Assistant

Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Pay: $15-21.33/Hour DOE

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare team. In this role, you'll work closely with providers to deliver exceptional patient care while supporting daily clinical and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and compassion.
  • Record vital signs, medical history, medications, and chief complaints.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
  • Perform clinical duties including venipuncture, injections, and other ancillary services as permitted.
  • Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing.
  • Process prescription refill requests and communicate with patients regarding care plans.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Track laboratory results, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and wellness as directed by the provider.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and established clinical protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management and medical supply ordering.
  • Support a positive patient experience and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR one (1) year of recent Medical Assistant experience within the past five years.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
