    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare client, a growing psychotherapy practice located in South Portland, ME. In this role, you will provide essential clinical and administrative support to ensure the safe, efficient, and patient-centered delivery of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for individuals experiencing mental health conditions such as depression. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical procedures, patient care, HIPAA standards, and office management, with a focus on fostering a welcoming environment that promotes healing and well-being.

    Position Details:

    • Temp-to-hire (90-day trial period)
    • 100% on-site in South Portland, ME
    • Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm (35 hours per week)

    Duties:

    • Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments according to physician treatment plans.
    • Monitor patients throughout treatment to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.
    • Educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, answering questions and providing reassurance.
    • Accurately document treatment sessions, patient progress, and required clinical records.
    • Observe and report changes in patient condition or safety concerns to the clinical team.
    • Maintain treatment equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized treatment environment.
    • Collaborate with providers and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
    • Assist with general administrative and office support duties as needed.
