Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front and back-office operations, assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, and provide quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
- Front and back-office experience.
- Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience.
- Patient rooming and vital signs experience.
- BLS or CPR certification.
- EMR/EHR experience.
- Strong patient communication and computer skills.
- Medical Assistant Certification and vaccination experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support front and back-office operations.
- Greet, room, and assist patients.
- Obtain and document vital signs.
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.
- Assist with vaccinations and clinical procedures.
- Support healthcare providers with patient care.
- Schedule appointments and answer phones.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide professional communication to patients and healthcare staff.
