DPS is now hiring for qualified Medical Assistants to work in the Southwest Houston area for a growing collegiate organization.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Bissonnet St. Houston, TX 77036

Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hourly (Based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to students for illnesses, injuries, and minor emergencies.
• Take and document vital signs and assess students health concerns.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized health office.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years medical assistant experience.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Ability to remain calm and professional when working with children.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
