Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed medical assistant that can work at all 5 campuses. This position will be a full-time floating position. Theseclinics include Endocrinology, Pediatric, Internal Medicine, FamilyMedicine, Ob/Gyn and Hematology/ Oncology. Job responsibilitieswill include, but are not limited to: Assessment of patients utilizing verbal and technical skills, triaging patients. Assist inmedication management, including vaccine management,administering routine medications, medication reconciliation and medication storage. PerformEKG, breathing treatments, and assist in clinical procedures. Work with insurance companies in completing referrals and on preauthorization for lab, X-ray, procedures and surgeries. Assist in scheduling tests and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: A person that is dependable with strong work ethics. Good communication and computer skills are required. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. An excellent replacement benefit package and salary are offered.
