Medical Assistant

Willis Knighton Health is seeking an MA to work at a fast-paced ob/Gyn clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking, organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility and dependability.We have an atmosphere of team work that we expect to continue with all new hires as you work closely with physicians, managers, nursing and clerical staff as integral components, assisting with daily operations of our clinics. The MA will assist with clerical and nursing responsibilities. The job description includes, but not limitedto:giving excellent customer patient care. Setting up and assisting with the Ob/Gyn procedures, assisting in prenatal care, medication management, to include administration, cleaning and transporting instruments, performing blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests. They will be working with insurance companies and other departments to obtain preauthorization and scheduling of tests and procedures. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 pm.
