Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed medical assistant that can work at all 5 campuses. This position will be a full-time floating position. TheseclinicsincludeEndocrinology,Pediatric, Internal Medicine, FamilyMedicine, Ob/Gynand Hematology/ Oncology. We need a person that is dependable with strong work ethics. Good communication and computer skills are required. Job responsibilitieswill include, but not limited to: assessment of patients utilizing verbal and technical skills, triaging patients.The MA will assist inmedication management, including vaccine management,administering routine medications, medication reconciliation and medication storage. They will performEKG, breathing treatments, and assist in clinical procedures.The MAwill work with insurance companies in completing referrals and on pre-authorization for lab, X-ray, procedures and surgeries. They will assist in scheduling tests and procedures. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. An excellent benefit package and salary are offered.
