Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Seattle, WA 98104. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Seattle, WA 98104

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Dress Code: Medical scrubs (any color) or business casual with lab coat

Pay Rate: $28/hr to $30/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support providers and clinical staff in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare patients for provider visits.
  • Manage EPIC In Basket messages, patient requests, results, and follow-up tasks.
  • Perform EKGs and assist with immunizations according to established protocols.
  • Process and track prior authorizations, ensuring required documentation is complete.
  • Coordinate and follow up on patient referrals and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinic workflow.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and clinical staff.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Medical Assistant Certification required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior outpatient/clinical experience.
