Medical Assistant (MA)

Riverhead, NY | $22–$27.50/hr

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 5 shifts per week (8.5 hours between 7:30am–6:00pm)

An established, growing multi-specialty healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its clinical team in Riverhead, NY. This is a great opportunity for a certified MA looking to work in a busy outpatient setting with exposure to a variety of specialties and procedures.

Pay: $22–$27.50/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient intake and document medical histories.
• Take and record patient vital signs.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist physicians with procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens.
• Update patient records in the EMR system.
• Maintain medical equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification NOT required.

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday–Friday, 5 shifts per week.
• 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
• No nights or weekends.
