Medical Assistant - Registered (MA-R) Location: Peninsula Pain ClinicPay Range: $20-$25Sign-On Bonus AvailableSound Pain Alliance is seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant – Registered (MA-R) to join our Pain Management team. This role supports physicians and advanced practiceproviders in delivering high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, pain scores, and medical history Assist providers during patient visits and in-office procedures Prepare and clean exam and procedure rooms Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Manage patient phone calls, messages, and follow-up tasks Provide patient education and coordinate care as directed by providersSound Pain Alliance provides on-the-job training and will submit and endorse qualifiedapplicants with the Washington State Department of Health to obtain their MedicalAssistant – Registered (MA-R) credential.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to obtain Washington State MA-R credential (clinic endorsement provided) Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
