Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant Receptionist to join our team! As a Medical Assistant Receptionist, you will be preparing for each patient visit by ensuring accurate collection of insurance, copays, balances, demographics, and other intake forms. You will be the face of the practice helping to answer patient's questions as they call the office and come in for their visits. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience. 


Responsibilities 

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes
• Collect and process insurance information as well as copays and balances 
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Schedule patient appointments 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in a medical office
