Medical Assistant Primary Care
Location: Port Jefferson Station, NY
Pay: $22.00$27.50 per hour, based on experience
Bilingual Pay: Additional $1.00 per hour for bilingual candidates
Schedule: MondayFriday, 5 days per week, 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, Medical Assistant to join a growing primary care team in Port Jefferson Station, NY. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting alongside physicians and clinical staff while providing quality, patient-focused care.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable balancing hands-on clinical responsibilities with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients and manage the intake process, ensuring accurate documentation.
Obtain and record patient vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
Perform venipuncture and process laboratory specimens.
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care testing.
Maintain, clean, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
Enter and update patient information in electronic medical records (EMR).
Follow proper safety, infection control, and PPE protocols.
Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous medical office or outpatient experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
EMR experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay of $22.00$27.50, based on experience.
