As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing each patient by taking vitals and preparing the chart for the provider.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing each patient by taking vitals and preparing the chart for the provider. Providing routine support alongside providers and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working in pediatrics. Responsibilities 

• Prepare for the patient visit, including running anu test,  as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer patents  about any lab/testing results that were done. 
• Assist  doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

Qualifications

• BLS Certification and  Medical Assistant Certificate required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Bilingual a plus
