Medical Assistant / Patient Coordinator

Aesthetemed Beauty and Wellness Clinic is seeking a friendly, highly communicative and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Hallandale Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position at 2100 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, Suite 100, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009.

You will serve as a key liaison between patients and providers, helping patients understand available services, provider-approved care plans and next steps while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression.

• Build positive relationships with patients and provide a high-quality experience.

• Clearly explain available services, procedures and care options using clinic-approved information.

• Answer non-clinical patient questions with confidence and empathy, and refer clinical questions or concerns to the licensed provider.

• Follow up with patients about consultations, treatments and provider-approved post-care instructions.

• Assist with appointment scheduling and coordination.

• Support patients throughout their visit to promote comfort and satisfaction.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information in accordance with clinic privacy procedures and HIPAA requirements.

English is required. Spanish is preferred, not required. Compensation is USD $18 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree is preferred.

• Previous experience in healthcare, a medical office or a patient-facing role is preferred.

• Strong spoken and written English and the ability to explain information clearly and empathetically.

• Spanish-language proficiency is a plus, not a requirement.

• Comfort presenting clinic-approved services and answering non-clinical patient questions.

• Excellent organization, multitasking and problem-solving skills.

• A professional, patient-centered and team-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work full-time on-site at our Hallandale Beach clinic.
