Medical Assistant

Location: Parrish, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant for a healthcare facility in Parrish, Florida. This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced medical professional who enjoys working directly with patients while supporting providers and maintaining efficient daily office operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both clinical and administrative responsibilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and medical procedures.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.

• Collect specimens and perform basic clinical duties as needed.

• Schedule patient appointments and maintain the office calendar.

• Maintain accurate patient records within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Communicate with patients regarding follow-up appointments, treatment plans, and care instructions.

• Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing-related administrative tasks.

• Provide patient education and information regarding medications and treatments as directed by providers.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.

• Follow established safety, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

• CMA or RMA certification is a plus.

• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
