    Description

    We are seeking a dependable and compassionate healthcare professional to support both patients and clinical staff in a fast-paced medical environment. This role plays an important part in delivering quality patient care, maintaining smooth office operations, and helping ensure a positive experience for every patient.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatment by gathering basic medical information and vital signs.
    • Assist healthcare providers during patient visits and minor procedures as directed.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic and paper medical records.
    • Support front-office and back-office workflows, including scheduling, patient intake, and follow-up tasks.
    • Prepare exam rooms, clean and restock supplies, and help maintain a safe and organized clinical setting.
    • Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols and compliance standards.
    • Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the practice.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program preferred.
    • Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is preferred.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care basics, and clinical office procedures.
    • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Comfort using computers, electronic health records, and standard office software.
    • Current certification or registration as a medical assistant may be preferred or required depending on location and regulations.
