Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description
The Medical Assistant provides comprehensive clinical and administrative support in a busy multispecialty orthopedics and pain management practice. This role supports healthcare providers in the exam room, manages patient flow through the clinic, and ensures accurate documentation and coordination of care. The Medical Assistant measures vital signs, records medical and medication histories in the EMR, prepares exam rooms, assists with minor procedures, coordinates scheduling and authorizations, and supports patients and providers with professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a multispecialty orthopedics and pain management practice that supports a variety of providers and academic partnerships. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a consistent daytime schedule. The environment is fast-paced and patient-focused, with nine providers and active involvement in training and supporting staff and learners from multiple medical and physician assistant programs. The culture is very family-oriented, tight knit, and welcoming, encouraging collaboration and mutual support among team members. Medical Assistants work closely with physicians, physician assistants, and other clinical and administrative staff, using EMR systems, standard clinical equipment, and specialized devices such as spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pump programmers. The role involves extended periods of standing and walking, frequent patient interaction, and coordination with hospitals, surgery centers, pharmacies, and laboratories. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
