SUMMARY OF POSITION: Penn State Health Medical Group Nyes Rd - Suite A is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join its team! Largely a Primary Care-based office, the Nyes Rd - Suite A office sees 150 patients per day. This office oversees newborn to elderly patients and handles acute visits to well-child checks and physicals.
The hired MA will be expected to room patients, take vitals, reconcile medications, and complete intake questionnaires. The MA will also conduct Point-of-Care testing, administer vaccines and perform EKGs, practice phlebotomy, and assist with in-house procedures as needed. Clerical duties include completing prior authorizations, form completion, and overseeing the patient e-message pool. Suite A offers versatility throughout the workday!
The desired Medical Assistant will be a flexible team player who has experience working in a fast-paced office and can multitask. This office enjoys hosting themed luncheons for team building and has weekly food trucks, so food enthusiasts will flourish with this office!
