    Job Description
       The ideal candidate must have a Medical Assistant certification, Fluent in English Language and Spanish. The Duties include but not limited to:
    *  Perform clinical functions such as EKG, PFT, and nebulizer treatment to patients. 
      *Assist providers as may be required
    *  Confirm and review Patient appointments prior to visit.
    * Confirm that all labs, imaging, and consults are available prior to appointment date.
    *  Check-out patients and assist with referral processing.
     Front Desk
    *  Receive and initiate phone calls,
    * Schedule appointments and recall patients accordingly.
    *  Obtains necessary patient information, update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
    *  Scan and file all signed documents appropriately.
    *     Triage all patients in line with established guidelines, including assessing vital signs, recording patients' health history and preparing patients for examination.
    *        Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments.
    *     Assist physicians with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
    *       Work with Care Manager in continuation of care protocol.
    *       Manage the monthly patient eligibility lists from the Insurance companies.
    *   Participates in all QI initiatives and training.
      Qualifications:
    •        High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program preferred.
    •        Excellent interpersonal skills
    •        Ability to always communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner.
    •        Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
    •        Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
     •   Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
    •    Must maintain confidentiality.
