Responsibilities:
- Administer patient care following established policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicate within a collaborative care team.
- Welcome and prepare patients with a positive and caring demeanor.
- Coordinate and administer patient care with attentiveness and accuracy.
- Ensure patient safety and uphold privacy rights in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Record patient information, vital signs, and medical history accurately.
- Demonstrate proficiency in examination and treatment room procedures.
- Draw and collect blood samples, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Perform routine tests as requested by the provider.
- Schedule and follow up on diagnostic testing for patients.
- Communicate test results to patients and establish care plans as directed.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record as per provider guidance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient exam rooms, sterilize instruments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Regular attendance during business hours is required.
- Proficient in medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Knowledgeable in medical practice for safe, quality patient care.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records.
Job Requirements: Experience / License / Certification / Education etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certified Medical Assistant.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Three months of previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
