Overview:

Employment Type: Full Time 

Hours: Monday through Friday (5:00pm-11:00pm)

Every other weekend ( Saturday and Sunday) 10:00am-8:00pm 

Location: Mercedes, TX - Mid Valley Urgent Care Clinic 

 

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, also referred to as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Certified Medical Assistants will support both clinical and administrative tasks, such as taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, updating patient records, and coordinating appointments. Medical Assistants will work under the supervision of physicians and nurses in a fast-paced environment, helping to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.    High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April         2014.

2.    Medical Assistant Certification perferred.

3.    Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

4.    Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5.    Work experience in health care preferred.
