Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 40 Hours/Week | Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support front and back-office operations, patient care, clinical procedures, scheduling, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship.

  • Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

  • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.

  • Front and back-office experience required.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.

  • BLS or CPR certification required.

  • Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience required.

  • EKG experience preferred.

  • Athena EMR experience preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support front and back-office operations.

  • Greet, register, and room patients.

  • Schedule appointments and answer phone calls.

  • Obtain and document patient vital signs.

  • Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.

  • Administer vaccines within scope of practice.

  • Perform EKG and Point-of-Care testing.

  • Provide clinical support to the healthcare team.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and center staff.

  • Support health education and outreach initiatives.

  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with center staff.

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support center operations.
