Description

A medical services organization in California is seeking a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist for a one-day assignment in Stockton. This role supports a mobile health screening event with blood collection, specimen handling, and professional patient interaction.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Thursday, August 13th
  • Hours: 12pm to 3pm
  • Setting: In-person

Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood draws for Quantiferon testing
  • Maintain accurate specimen handling and documentation
  • Provide professional patient interaction throughout the screening event
  • Follow event and client protocols during the assignment
  • Support a smooth and efficient mobile screening workflow

Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of relevant work experience
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Prior blood draw or phlebotomy experience
  • Comfort performing Quantiferon blood collections
  • Professional appearance and strong patient interaction skills

Desired Skills:

  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • Medical Assistant (MA) certification
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant (MA)
  • Phlebotomy experience in a Mobile or Event-based setting
  • Familiarity with specimen documentation and handling procedures
