Job Title: Medical Assistant (Local)
City: Seattle

Shift Details: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)
Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours
Certifications/Licenses:
  • BLS
Mandatory Experience:
  • Pediatric Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Schedule: 4x10hr, 0730-1800 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday // OFF THURSDAYS AND WEEKENDS)
  • Experience: 1 year of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting
  • Skills Required:
  • VITAL SIGNS
    • Hearing screening
    • Obtain Vital Signs
    • Vision testing
  • PREPARE FOR EXAM: Record History/Medications/Allergies
  • SET UP AND ASSIST WITH PROCEDURES: Nebulizer Treatments
  • INJECTIONS: Immunizations
  • SPECIMEN COLLECTION
    • Labeling of specimens
    • Throat
    • Urine - UA/Clean Catch
    • Venipuncture
  • LABORATORY TESTS: Blood Glucose via Glucometer
  • OFFICE DUTIES
    • Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
    • Telephone Triage
  • PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    • Administration of TB Test
    • Follow up phone calls
    • Rooming Patients
    • Suture Removal
  • Type of Facility: Pediatric Clinic (busy pediatric clinic environment)
  • Charting: EPIC (experience preferred)
  • Parking: Free parking available on site
