    Medical Assistant | RMA Preferred | Little Rock Specialty Clinic

    A busy specialty clinic in Little Rock is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support patient care and help keep daily clinic operations running smoothly.

    The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Medical Assistant experience, be comfortable working in an electronic medical record system, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to a fast-paced clinical environment. RMA certification is preferred, but experienced Medical Assistants are encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Room patients and prepare them for examination
    • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, height, weight, and blood pressure
    • Prepare, clean, and stock treatment and examination rooms
    • Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
    • Support patient education and provide clear follow-up instructions
    • Return patient telephone calls
    • Call prescriptions into pharmacies as directed by the provider
    • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
    • Clean and reset examination rooms between patients
    • Help maintain an efficient and organized patient flow throughout the clinic

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • At least one year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
    • Current Medical Assistant certification preferred
    • Experience documenting patient information in an electronic medical record system
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced clinic
    • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team

    Preferred Experience:

    • Registered Medical Assistant certification
    • Previous experience working in a specialty clinic
    • Experience with prescription requests, patient telephone calls, and clinical documentation

    Compensation/Benefits:

    • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
    • No nights
    • No weekends
