Reports to: Mid Level Provider, Medical Director, Franchisee
Essential Job Functions & Clinical Duties
· Ensures that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product & program knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
· Conducts urinalysis, EKG, phlebotomy, and body composition & communicates the results to provider
· Obtains patient’s vitals, before and after photos
· Administers IM Injections
· Prepares laboratory order forms
· Assists medical director or mid-level practitioner with patient referrals or other healthcare professionals
· Assists medical director/practitioner with medical supply inventory procedures & responsible for daily restock
· Documents procedures conducted, patient progress notes and any other patient specific data in the patient chart/EMR
· Conducts patient calls to include: appointment reminders, care calls and progress/patient concerns
· Utilizes phone system to answer and appropriately route all incoming calls
· Conducts consultations and Initial Assessments with patients regarding the Medi-Weightloss program(s)
· Assists with cleanliness of medical environment
Non-essential Job Functions
· Participates in location marketing efforts to promote the program and provides ongoing support to promote location success
· Assists with all administrative duties, included but not limited to, answering the telephones, scheduling patients, and updating/uploading patient medical records
· Maintains up to date, high level of program education in order to promote and explain benefits of program and products to current and prospective patients
· Participates in refresher training as requested by management. Refresher training may be by means of Regional Trainings, Onsite Support by Corporate Office, Boot camps, and eLearning.
· Promptly refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the office manager or as instructed.
· Adheres to all operational guidelines including but not limited to HIPAA, OSHA, and location specific requirements.
